" Hail damaged my roof, which resulted in ceiling damage in one of my second-floor bedrooms. I'd called a recommended roofer but it fizzled (see review).

Someone else suggested another company but they don't work on steep roofs; however, they refer all of their steep roof requests to J Taylor Construction. I was given Joe Taylor's cell phone number; I left a message and he called me back very quickly. He arranged for his brother Dave and a roofer to come out THAT DAY, the roof was patched on the spot (allowing me to sleep nights), and an appointment was made for a replacement for the following week. The work and materials were thoroughly explained to me with a package that included samples and I was quoted an extremely fair price. Dave and his crew showed up early on the day of my appointment and proceeded to very efficiently replace the roof, including new flashing and repairing damaged wood. More vents were added, in addition to the ones being replaced. Given that it's a large house and rain that hadn't been forecast was imminent, they battened down the hatches (if you will) and finished the next morning. Cleanup was stellar--not a scrap of debris to be seen when they left. We had yet another storm later that day but the roof kept the house dry. I HIGHLY recommend J Taylor Construction and have already recommended them to a friend. These guys are the real deal. "

"Excellent price and excellent job. During the sale and lead-up to the job, John was super accommodating and attentive to our particular construction nuances. The crew arrived on time, took care in setting up landscaping and building protection, finished in one day, and the clean-up was stellar. John even made sure a couple of details were taken care of that I hadn't mentioned or were outside of the normal job. Highly recommended."

"J Taylor has been taking care Of my roofing needs For years. I recently had them tear out And replace my roof On the back Of my house. I have a low slope roof so they used a rubber membrane. The quality And workmanship are excellent! From Dave consulting With Me over the years about the useful life Of the roof, to Jonathan doing an amazing job installing the New roof, I am truly impressed by this company! I had 5 bids On the roofing project before choosing J Taylor... Their bid was Not the cheapest but, the peace of mind knowing the job would be done right was worth the extra money."
